816 New York helps launch CGInform, a data-analysis software solution for NYC schools
Agency supports local effort to improve New York City education while boosting the economy in Guyana
ASTORIA, QUEENS, NY, 3/28/19 – 816 New York, a strategic business consulting agency, announced today that it has helped launch a new website for CGInform, an educational software product offered by NYC-based Guyana Economic Development Trust.
The Guyana Economic Development Trust, an independent philanthropic organization, incubates and supports projects that develop the workforce and boost the private sector of Guyana. The CGInform platform will unite the Trust’s economic / skills-based initiatives with providing educational data & insights to New York City schools.
From the CGInform website: “Insights resulting from this analysis should guide teachers in helping each student to improve, and, ultimately, insights and recommendations from analyzing student data should be aligned to important teacher, principal, and school performance frameworks.”
The program is designed to analyze classroom and standardized exams; provide insights from educator-provided data; and provide recommendations for improving student learning and educational environments.
Staff at 816 New York worked with Trust leadership to build out a simple microsite for the software product, and will be involved in the future in building a secure backend interface for educators to upload data and more.
“We have so enjoyed collaborating with the vibrant Guyana Economic Development Trust to launch digital marketing for CGInform,” founder & director Sarah Williams says. “We hope it will help to facilitate more visibility for educators throughout the city.”
