The client needed us to help transition website protocols and maintenance from the off-shore development team to their in-house staff, and then train the staff on how to update the website.
We applied basic change management techniques to create a way to help them exit the development team and onboard the in-house maintenance staff.
- Discovery: Assessing the backend structure of the website, including meetings with stakeholders, database administrators, and support staff members. Guiding stakeholders on how to gather relevant information from the development team in order to facilitate transition.
- Analysis: Reviewing provided correspondence, site architecture and customer journey documents, templates, API documentation, and other documents to guide training support. Coordinating with stakeholders and database team.
- Onboarding / Training: Meetings with in-house staff to develop SOPs and guide maintenance tasks, including content updates, software updates, and integrations.
